Throughout the course, we will focus on the fundamental self-defense techniques that every woman should know. Our curriculum is built upon the six core defenses, ensuring you develop a strong foundation:

  1. Headlocks:
    Learn effective strategies to escape headlocks and regain control.
  2. Guillotine:
    Master powerful techniques to defend against frontal attacks and stay one step ahead.
  3. Rear Attacks:
    Gain the skills to confidently handle unexpected assaults from behind.
  4. Haymakers:
    Discover how to defend against wide swings and turn the tables on your attacker.
  5. Tackles:
    Learn the art of evading and countering aggressive takedowns.
  6. Grabs (including hair pulling):
    Develop the ability to escape various grabbing situations, from hair pulls to single arm grabs.

Each class will focus on three specific attacks within a particular subject. For example, during the Grabs session, you will tackle the three most common situations: hair pulls, parallel arm grabs, and diagonal arm grabs. We believe in the power of repetition and practice, so we limit ourselves to a maximum of three variations per defense. This “Rule of 3” approach ensures deep understanding and effective application.

Our teaching methodology goes beyond one-dimensional responses. We will introduce you to the concept of “The 4 Ways to Win,” enabling you to counter and counter the counter. This creates a dynamic learning environment where you can drill and practice these techniques with different partners, allowing you to refine your skills and adapt to various scenarios. Our progressive training system (PTS) ensures a comprehensive and engaging experience.

In addition to mastering the physical techniques, we will also discuss the four fighting principles that are essential for effective self-defense:

  1. Manage Your Distance:
    Learn how to create and maintain a safe personal space.
  2. Control The Chaos:
    Develop strategies to stay calm and focused under pressure.
  3. Survive Efficiently:
    Discover techniques to neutralise threats swiftly and effectively.
  4. Strike Strategically:
    Harness the power of precision strikes to disable attackers and create opportunities for escape.
